Crying Out for Marcy Day and Night

Luke 18 (The Parable of the Persistent Widow)

1 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, 2saying: "There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. 3Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, "Get justice for me from my adversary.' 4And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, "Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 5yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me."' 6Then the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge said. 7And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"

James 5:16

Confess your trespasses[5:16 NU-Text reads [Therefore confess your sins.] ] to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

We thank everyone who has said they will pray for us. And since James 5:16 says to "pray for one another," Marcy is constantly looking for prayer requests from others. She spends a great deal of time in bed praying and likes praying for others more than she likes praying for herself. If you have a prayer request, just email or call me and Marcy will pray for you.
