Marcy's Prayer Quilt: Individual Squares

(Presented in the order they are on the quilt)

Our friend Anna sees faith, hope, and love grow in her children and in our daughter Darcy. Anna's daughter Ashley is one of Darcy's best friends and Anna has kept Darcy for us often, including during hospital stays.
Audrey, the honorary fifth sister, sees Marcy walking with her again. This is the same Audrey who is one of our caregivers, dinner providers, and does Marcy's nails.
Carrie and my son, Troy, remind us that out of darkness comes light.
My cousin Cathy sends His angels to guard us in all our ways.

My cousin Ellen reminds us why God gives us His Son.

John 3:16

Karen's friend Jan reminds us that all things work for good for those who love God.

Romans 8:28

My mother, like our loving God, plans for our welfare and our future.
Our friends Jeanie and Gene see Marcy looking to Him always. This is the same Jeanie who prayed for Dean's back.

Marcy's sister Laura Lee demonstrates that the four sisters are victorious over time. The sisters from left to right are: Joni, Marcy (Marcy still has the Pooh bear she is holding in this picture,) Laura, and Denise.
Our neighbors, Dave and Pattie, bear our burdens as theirs. This is the same Dave and Pattie that came over for the living room concert.
Marcy's sister Joni, the vet tech, reaches out through the love of pets.
My cousin Julie reminds us that our home keeps in perfect peace as long as our minds are on Him.
Marcy's mother Karen pictures our family whole.
Marcy's Aunt Max, eighty something years old, gives us a simple message: keep the faith.
Mariellen, who champions our dinner caregivers, renews our strength by waiting on Him. This has been one of her favorite verses since middle school.
My cousin Sharon and her children lay hands on us.
My sister-in-law Pam reminds us that every day's trial, like the day itself, is precious.
My Aunt Pat, the artist and art teacher, paints us in a place for new beginnings.
My sister Patti, a teacher, guides us to continue to search for the Lord and for his strength.
My brother Ed reminds us that every day's trial, like the day itself, is precious.
My sister Jeni watches for Marcy's go, go spirit to return.
My Aunt Sara, who started the quilt, like God, and as His sheep, puts our prayers in golden bowls.
Our friend Holly sees Him showering Marcy with beauty.

My cousin Sherri reminds us the greatest gift is love.

1 Corinthians 13:13

My Aunt Sara, who started the quilt, puts our prayers in golden bowls.

Revelations 5:8

Our neighbor Connie (and the two prospective baby sitting customers she has for Darcy) watch over Marcy - along with God - while we sleep. This is the same Connie who was such a big help with Darcy's baptism.
