Hannah Montana The Movie

Friday June 27, 2008 we had the opportunity to visit the set for Hannah Montana The Movie.
If you don't recognize the people in the pictures below, ask any pre-teen kid. |

We parked in "Base Camp" where all the actors' trailers are. Darcy immediately saw Jason, who plays Miley's brother. She banged on our car window, he heard her and came over. |

Everyone was so nice and each person was happy to pose for pictures and sign autographs. Jason was especially nice and was very funny. |

Next Darcy flagged down Emily, who is wearing a wig to impersonate Hannah in the next scene to be shot. |

Billy Ray was shooting yesterday, too, and signed a picture for Matt! |

Billy Ray said he remembered talking with us at the movie theater years ago. |

Miley was there and nice to us, but didn't have as much time to talk as some of the others. |

But still made time for a picture with us. Miley especially liked Cricket and had her Yorkies in her trailer. |

This is Lucas, a love interest of Miley's in the movie.
He's not in the TV show, so he is not as well known. But he will be. He was very nice, good looking, spent time talking with Darcy, and Darcy had a crush on him by the time we left. |

From base camp we walked to the set - an old farmhouse - where we sat outside and watched a monitor while they shot inside. |

While on set, we met Lora (Melora Hardin) who plays Billy Ray's love interest in the movie. She also plays Jan on the NBC show "The Office."
She, too, was very nice. |
|
We didn't take her picture, but our guide for the night was Linda, Miley's teacher. She introduced us to everyone, told us who each person was and what their job is, and stayed with us for the 3 hours we were there. She took Darcy inside the house where they were shooting and gave her the royal treatment.
Darcy had the time of her life and it was a very fun day.
